Hi everyone!! I'll try to keep this basic. I'm the proud owner of a gorgeous little rottie bitch, 8 weeks old. Now, here's my problem. I sent my 13yr old daughter a photo of her, then her mother (who I do not live with), called me and her exact words were,"Please don't tell me that's a rottweiler in that photo? This is just an FYI for those who might consider using a cable to contain their dog...I was chatting with my neighbor over my fence when we saw a bunny in the yard across the street. It had just hopped down into the next yard when we heard this loud "pop" and the neighbor's dobie came running out from the side yard after the rabbit. We have a beautiful 11 month year old female and are considering getting another. Our dog's breeder just had another litter. The pups are so cute, how could you not want another. But we also know it will be twice the money for vets and food, twice the hair, twice everything. I'm not sure I can walk two of them. I'm not sure our house is big enough for two. My neighbor's kid was playing with their little 5 lb dog that somehow ended up over the fence and in my yard. My yard is fenced in and locked with a sign on the gate. My dog bit the other dog and it was taken to the vet. The vet didn’t figure out that it had a puncture lung, just gave it a couple of stitches. 3 days later it died.
