Hello fellow and future Workaholics. I’m Brutus – Welcome to the Working Rottweilers Forum on Rottweiler.Net.

Many of you participate in this Forum. I’d like to invite all of you to get off the couch, and get your dog working on more than a box of milk bones! Because of folks like you, dog sports and activities are growing by leaps and bounds – This is the Forum in which to hone your skills and win that trial! If you're new to the wonderful world of working your dog, stick around, you're sure to get that fire in your belly... I urge one and all to participate in this Forum... Afterall, the Rottweiler is a Working Dog... Function goes with the Form, and this is the Forum of Function.

We are a very fortunate Community of Rottweiler lovers here at Rottweiler.Net – We have, at our fingertips a World of knowledge.. 100’s and 100’s of years of combined experience (scary, eh?) and I urge you to ask your questions, offer advice, impart your valuable knowledge, and soak in that valuable knowledge.

Whether you’re interested in finding out the best way to get started in Schutzhund, you’ve got a ball crazy dog and no where to take him, or you want to see if your girl can outrun a greyhound lure coursing (she can’t, but she’ll likely outsmart it!), this is the place to inquire!
Trying to find a Flyball Team? Looking for a place to certify your Therapy bound dog? This is the place to inquire. Didn’t pass that BH or CD, and need advice on how to polish your routine up? Can’t find a good cart? This is the place to inquire! The Rottweiler is one of the best "all around" working dogs... so, there's bound to be an activity that suits both you and your pooch... and this is the place to inquire!

As many dog sports that exist, we have just as many differing opinions and theories regarding things like stimulus and reaction, and so forth. We are passionate about our working dogs… So, I do ask that you maintain a level of decorum and respect for your fellow members…be passionate and play nice…. Remember, it’s about the dogs, our beloved Breed, The Rottweiler.

Remember, the time you spend working your dog, whether you're teaching her to retrieve the dumbell, or you're taking up ballroom dancing...this is ALL time well spent. The time you spend builds the bond between you and your dog, increases your control over your animal, makes your dog a more enjoyable companion, and - here's the kicker, makes your dog a better ambassador for the Breed.

We have recently added a Sub Forum to your Working Rottweiler Forum – Working Brags. Please share your good fortune here! Feel free to give a hearty congrats to those who have lost blood, sweat and tears to attain their goals!

And finally, The Rules... To assist those following particular threads, please add your follow ups to the thread of origination...Remember - no posting of email addresses, or mention of a particular Breeder – and please keep the extraneous chit chat in the appropriate Forum.

Thanks!... and again, Welcome! Brutus
