Two new little titles

My girls had a busy, but successful weekend .

On Friday Roca earned her 4th MJP leg (need 10 for the title) in agility running 10 seconds under course time (not bad for 3 months shy of 9 years young), and while she didn't qualify (minor mistakes on each run) Brev proved that she is ready to run at the excellent level as well (I just need to learn to handle her better).

Then on Saturday Brev trialed in obedience and finished her CD . This also qualified her for her ARC Versatility award. Of course since it was Saturday we also did plenty of herding during the afternoon/evening.

Sunday Roca finished her RE title with a 99 (I lost us a point when I stopped to read a sign since I'd missed the walk-through) and 4th place.

I'm feeling pretty lucky that I get to hang out with such wonderful dogs!

Sounds like a little more than "little titles" to me!

It's wonderful that you can be so active with multiple dogs, I have a hard time with just one!

Hi, hcelsa, I had to go check out your website when I saw this, and realized you're near Tacoma..... we live just outside Port Townsend and I would love to try herding. Mango is just 14 weeks now. Your website mentions EWETOPIA.... is this where you'd suggest that we take her ???
It's a long drive, but I'd love to try it at least. Do you know of any herding-training places that are north, closer to us ???

(Once she learns how, of course, we may have friends who would let her work with their sheep).

I'm not Becky but...yes yes YES! The drive is well worth it, the folks at Ewe-topia are awesome. I've done 99.9% of Blitz's training there when we go up to visit (from California.) With very intermittent training (2-4 days, every few months) she was able to earn her JHD, HT and PT. (I'm WAYYY overdue for a visit!!!)

Definitely! I'll be there (I teach beginning dogs) if you come out Tues-Thursday or Saturday (I'm not usually there on Sundays).
