Okay, so it wasn't pretty !!!

But Taylor got 2 qualifying legs on her Rally Advanced this weekend. (We WON'T mention the scores. )

She had a little trouble with a couple of the signs, but was definitely some comic relief while in the ring. She got quite the round of applause both days when she was done.

The Novice B class was another story. I had a friend take her in (because Taylor tries too hard to play "show dog" with me and doesn't like to stay in heel position--she wants to be out in front of me).

The 'on leash' heeling and figure 8 were quite nice. A couple of crooked sits, and a little forging, but not bad. The stand for exam was perfect. But then came the 'off leash'............

The judge had them pointing towards the ring entrance, and Danielle said that Tay spotted someone outside the ring and thought was me, and decided to go see her. (I was hiding). Needless to say, she asked to be excused, and we'll be trying again this next weekend.

Oh well, the trials and tribulations and humiliations of owning a rotten dog !!
