Bumbalina passes Delta Society Therapy Test!

We are so proud of Brandy Hills Gratia Bumbalina a.k.a. "Bumbalina" and Michael and Carol Grossi her owners. Bumbalina has been participating in the R. E. A. D. program and in training for certification of her Therapy Dog title and on Saturday, February 16th passed the Delta Society Therapy test with ease.

Bumbalina and her friends Oola and Ollie, Bernise Mt. Dogs, visit libraries and nursing homes on a regular basis helping bring smiles and happiness to the young and old alike. Bumbalina is the rottweiler bringing a huge smile to a little girls face on the bottom left of the Photo Gallery page.

Bumbalina's name translates to, "Graceful Baby Girl." I will say Michael has a unique way of naming his dogs. His boy, Brandy Hills Dominic Elbadi a.k.a "Ebo" was named after his father. He lost Ebo to cancer at a very young age. Both Mike and Carol are very dedicated to their family; human and canine.

When I am name hunting -- I'll let you know and maybe they can help ! I used to call my female "Baby Girl" instead of her given name ! When she heard "Tess" she knew someone was in deep poo !!

A fabulous success for the Rottweiler breed. I think it is the Certified Therapy dogs that do the most for the breed and keep BSL at bay. Congratulations Bumbalina, Mike and Carol.
They should feel very proud of this wonderful ambassador for the breed.

Thanks to everyone that congratulated Bumbalina on her Delta Society test. I apologize for not seeing your congrats sooner, but am not getting notices of all the replies to threads as of late.

Joe and I are very proud of Mike and Carol. And, I agree active Therapy dogs and dogs in programs such as R. E. A. D. do wonders for our breed.
