Re: second time.

these slogans are very encouraging..in a way!
I remember someone once posted about her neck scarf getting grabbed, and she went down. I guess you have to get prepared to fall, huh?

I'm going to make an extra good pan of my very best lasagna to take on saturday. hope it will make up to the guys for all the extra help. the women don't really say much about boris. except to say they prefer dogs that are small enough for them to handle.

Hey if your gonna bring Lasagna feel free to come to my training centre. Don't worry Debbie, no helper minds a newbie as long as they are willing to learn and listen. It is the keenness that we are looking for, the talent/knowledge and handler skill comes later.

Mick.

No they aren't. LOL

We have a newbie at our Club that furnishes breakfast every Saturday she comes, she even brings tables to put it all on... oh yeah, and she drives 3 hours to get here! She ROCKS... Yes, Mick... you really need to come to the States to see how it's done RIGHT!

Sounds like the truth to me...At our club, any dog that pees on the training field, .....penalty is a 12-pack of beer.

Re: second time.

third time tonight. we have been practicing the heeling all week. they said to show what we could do. the woman who is helping me with obedience gave me lots of praise...see works for people too. she called his heeling "a beautiful picture". this is the same woman who told me he was too fat last week. I don't think he has lost much weight, but he sure was hungrier. so she said next week we will start learning patterns. they also said boris won't be joining the younger dogs group anymore. he and another dog will be trained alone and he will be secured by a longer lead attached to one of the poles when I start handling him. tonight Jim handled him. he really loves this game! the guys were discussing if he should be done for the night, and boris grabbed a burlap tug that was laying on the ground and started shaking it and jumping around with it. so they let him play a little more. he sure is enjoying it.

I expressed concern about holding him when I begin to work with him, and they assured me he would learn the control and I could do it.

the lasagna was well received. this is so very fun!

Here at the club ,the price for that is a round after training at the clubhouse.Nobody minds,we are drinking there anyway;with or without dogs peeing or pooping at the field.
