biking with my dog ok I jus got a bike the other day and have started taking grizzly for a jog everymorning, now I should have posted this in the musclemass topic but there is way too much bickering to find a honest reply, now I am wondering is this a purely aerobic activity? what affect does this have on his build? he is currently 87 pounds, also what kinds of things can I do to change this biking routine up? what should I expect from his physique from jogging, also what is the difference in physique results from jogging only or sprinting only.our jog is half up hill and half downhill

I don't know if I'm allowed to do this but here is a website on how to train for the AD. You may find this info useful. http://www.ultranet.com/~reiher/ad.html

Kustom. Everyone has their own opinion. If you find it difficult to get an "honest answer" here; maybe it's you. Not them. Seems you want answers that you WANT TO HEAR. In the particular thread you referred to "Building Mass" there were EXCELLENT posts throughout that thread. It was very clearly and painstakingly explained in many posts. The how's and the why's. Now, for your bike post. Biking is a good exercise. You do have to carefully condition the dogs pads to road surfaces. It's advisable to put "Bag Balm" or TuffPad on them to help with cracking. Start slowly and add distance. Hopefully you've gotten a handle on your boys dog aggression, otherwise he may take you on quite a ride. There are devices you can attach to the bike called a "Springer". It allows you to have both hands on the bike; and not the dog. Dogs really should be fairly obedient when using the Springer though.
