Flyball.....

Not sure if this is considered "working" but hubby and I are going to check out a Flyball club here in SE MI! I am sooo excited to see how they train and to get Madchen involved! Anyone have any experience or tips for us???

sounds interesting! Have seen it on TV. Wonder how the rottie would do in this sport, but I know they'd have a heck of alot of fun.

Please keep us updated on how it goes and what you think of the sport.

Always interested in learning about potential new jobs for my rottie -- perhaps flyball would be one of them!

My friend has put quite a few flyball titles on a number of her females (not the males though, too heavy, too front end loaded, too much risk of injury with the repetitive jumping). Had a lot of fun doing it. I tried it with Tia, but her prey drive is WAY too high......sees border collie on the other course and wants to chase it! Tia has her CDX, is a very well trained dog, but this sport was not for her<VBG>
If your Rott is slim/active/athletic give it a try!
