crying dog

When ever I get within half a mile of a training site my dog starts crying and barking. One guy asked if I had a puppy in the car. Do any of you guys have that problem?

Don't have that problem but know plenty who do. It is only excitement. A good thing to see put something you may want to control.

On the days for Sara's therapy visits at the nursing home, when I get to a certain intersection near there, she starts whining in excitment.
If she's just on a ride with me, and we pass by that same place, she doesn't react at all. http://www.rottweiler.net/rottie/biggrin.gif

Don't even say the word 'schutzhund' in my house without Hannibal bouncing off the walls, doing spins, leaps, and whining! Not to mention the noise making as the field gets closer!!!

When I saw this post, I got this huge smile on my face as if to say I know just what you guys are talking about! When getting my suit, equipment etc. ready for training, my two rotties go bannanas and it's like an instant "Tornado" in our yard. Sometimes I just stand and stare in total amazement.

Regards
