Topsfield MA, June 12th...

...OK here we go again <LOL>!! Ben and I are entered in our third trial. We are in Novice A obedience - and from the looks of the judging program we are in Ring TEN (10) at 9:55am. We are number 104, with Mr Thomas Walsh as the judge. Has anyone shown under him....good, bad, indifferent...thoughts on him if you have any?!?! If anyone else will be attending, look us up!!

Anyways - paws crossed...let's go for leg 2!!! There are 12 dogs entered in our class...hopefully we can do better than at least 8 of them!!

Breed judging starts for rottie at 8:30am, then bullmastiffs...hopefully we'll be able to watch a bit of that.

I think we'll stay for the variety group classes - I wanna see the rotties. That starts at 2:15.

Re: Topsfield MA, June 12th...

On the very next day (June 13) Bea and I are supposed to be trialing there. We will go IF my Shiba has had her pups and they are doing well enough for hubby to babysit

Right this minute though she looks like she is going to wait til next week. Her due dates are 6/9-13 but... you know how girls can be :)

IF we get to go we are hoping for a second leg. Bea has been doing quite well lately soooo

Good luck Anne and Gretchen (bostonrott) is trialing at the agility trial there Fri and Sat so you should try to say hi

Re: Topsfield MA, June 12th...

Thanks AngelBunny - Ben and I have been doing short (10 minutes or so) training sessions daily, each time in a different place, and I have been working alot just on his focus...he has even done a great sit/stay on a long line in the local Home Depot parking lot on a busy weekend afternoon!

Lots of distractions and he's getting very good at watching me as well as what is going on around him...we'll see if it pays off on Saturday. I am nowhere near as nervous as I as in PA at the beginning of May!!

Ooohhh...I'll try to find Gretchen....hey Gretchen - what ring(s) and what times will you be there on Saturday??

Good luck to everyone!!!

:) Jeanne Charest , the judge for Concord Dog training club on the 13th has a rottie. She is a very nice woman. Give her steward a smile.... she's a good friend of mine! All the best to all of you looking for legs! Hopefully they will be received!

Well if you all want to hear how Bea and I do, then you all need to send my Shiba Inu brain waves/thoughts to deliver these pups by Sat am!!

No pups and no trial because hubby won't babysit an expecting dog!!

Here's wishing Anne & Ben and Gretchen & Vikka (Banja's not entered right?)HUGE success at their trials !!

I'll be sending those vibes to your Shiba. Also, I will need to see puppy pictures since I just adore Shibas. One day, I will own one.
