| Even better than posted pics is that National Geographic will be there filming for a show on protection dogs, so maybe those that can't get there will be able to catch it later on a PBS station.:D Rottlva, if you are only an hour away, you must go, as it is an incredible event. I know my boy and I are going and planning to have a great time there. Ann R. (owned by Coxy, Bella & Larco):D :D :D :D |

| Ann, I was there with a few of my "obedience clubbies". We went on Saturday.... My only complaint..... we got there at 8:45.... because things were supposed to start up at 9:00 and things started up around 11:45.... so, because I had dogs at the house that were left behind I had to leave around 2 to exercise them!!! But I saw some wonderful work! It is certainly different from the AKC obedience scene.......:p :p I wasn't able to see any of the rotties go much to my dismay, but a good time was had! Who owns "Rough and Tough Rotties"??? Was that you Ann? They were some NICE looking dogs ! One quick question..... they were talking about only doing an out after the decoy had froze..... in real life protection training, do they teach that? I am wondering because it would seem unrealisitic to expect a bad guy to freeze when being bit.....

| I'm pretty sure I read on another board that this is one of the events that National Geografic will be atending and filming some documentary on protection dogs. Be sure to get in front of the camera as much as possible so you can tell us what to watch for when the documentary comes :D ~Gord |
