New Agility Title

:) Just have to share the happy news with agility lovers on this forum! Elijah earned his Open Agility Jumpers with Weaves title (OAJ) this past Saturday in Lafayette, Indiana! The little Rottie also took First Place in his Division!:D

We moved up to Excellent JWW and ran that on Sunday but unfortunately a bar went down and that NQ'd us. Excellent has a faster running time than Open and I was very worried about that but we were only one second over in time so at least I now know we can do it.:)

Thanks for the congrats everyone! Lori, I doubt that we will ever be in the AKC Agility Championship but for sure we will always watch when it is on!!!!!

There were five Rotties entered in the Lafayette competition. One Rottie earned the Novice Standard Agility title on Sunday and one of the others is running in Excellent Standard. There are afew of us out there but we need more people to show off what a great intelligent, athletic, wonderful breed the Rottweiler is!:)

Completely agreed! But don't count yourself out yet. There's a Rottie from up this way who was at the USDAA finals, his pic is in Clean Run, I think the January issue?

I do hope more Rottie people try the sport, it's truly a blast, highly addictive, and our breed CAN do very well !! :D
