SchH Video???

Does anyone know where I can get the Schutzhund video by Gottfried Dildi? It was recommended to me by Joe Hedl but he was not sure of the spelling of the name. Any help locating this video would be appreciated!

You can probably find it in the Ray Allen catalog. Or online at http://rayallen.com. The correct spelling is Gottfried Dildei. Good luck.

SChutzhund Videos

I'd recommend you also check out Canine Training Systems http://www.ctsproductions.com/index.htm

Especially since if you are going to get a couple of them, they will be discounted! All 6 videos are excellent. I agree that which ones you should get are dependent on what phase and level of schutzhund you and your dog are at.

Happy Training!

If you are on Ed's site, (????????), check out the Bernhard Flinks tapes. Of all the seminars I've been to, his are the best, bar none. His way of building drive and motivation is excellent, and the explanations of working the dog in drive are very good.

We usually have Bernhard in for a seminar each year, though I believe this year he's very well booked. But if we do, I'll post it here. Club trains down toward Cape Cod, just off of Rte 495. :)

Gottfried subscribes to the thinking that a pup should be a puppy and doesn't do bitework with them til they're approx 18 mo old. Then, he will let the owner bring him out to the field, behind the 4' fence to watch other dogs being worked close by. This goes on for some time, he comes in to fake the sleeve to the dog behind the fence and runs away building frustration til one day the sleeve comes over the fence and the dog gets his first bite and is whisked away back to his truck.

Flinks tapes were good. Rose tapes are good but I could do without all the narrating from Ed.
