Too old for Schutzhund?

I have a 15 month old rescue rott...Do y'all think he's too old for Schutzhund training?

I've seen older dogs do it. Some dogs will never be able to do it no matter what their upbringing, while others are naturals at it. Find a good club and ask them to give you an honest assessment.

didnt start mine untill he was 2.5 they are slow maturing and you wont see much in the protection till then or later

Western Oregon Rottweiler Klub (WORK) is a USRC club in Oregon. I don't know how close it is to you, though. Their web site is http://www.workrotts.com. If they aren't a good match for you, they can probably point you in another direction.
