CGC in nashville

i have been talking with someone from the akc about getting dungeon an ilp # and about a show in tn coming up in august. on the akc website it says there is going to be cgc testing at the nashville kennel club in franklin on aug 17. that is all the info i know. i can't seem to get any more info about it at all. where exactly is it? how do i register? will they take non-akc reg. dogs still intact? i will be there on that date and want to have him tested but i can't find anything else out. any tn residents, pls help!-kevin

Any dog, mixed breed or purebred, intact or altered, registered or not registered, can take the Canine Good Citizen test. Contact the Nashville Kennel Club, and they should be able to register you for the test. Good luck!

i live in huntsville, ala. am interested too., but here, you have to have documents stating that they completed basic training testing. is it true there? i would love for mine to be a canine good citizen, for how many humans out there are??? lol! also, i want to get her into therapy soon,, she out did the 1st basic class, and i didn't have to pay. she was a shelterdog. and passed just seeing what i/she could do.
