First title EVER!!
Well, Bear FINALLY did it...he got onto the mats in a REAL race and on saturday became our teams newest Flyball Dog (FD)!

It's Bear's first title and mine so this is a really special event for both of us!

We can't take pictures in the ring (no flash alowed) but we managed to sneak out and get a few pictures by the Ocean with his newest bandana!

what a great boy!! I have never seen flyball, so I can't fully appreciate your accomplishment, but it still is very impressive to me....

Congratulations!!

the pictures are wonderful. he is very handsome and full of it!

Thanks everyone! I'm not sure that Bear realised what all the commotion was about but he was VERY glad to get lots of scritches and good treats after his clean runs.

To celebrate, he also got a nice new bed from Costco.

We still have a lot of things to work on but we're taking a well deserved week off (except for agility class).

Way to go Bear !!!!! What a handsome, smart boy ! Wish I could have made it there to see this kid run in person..maybe next time ! Gorgeous pictures..isn't that one of the prettiest place on earth ?

It REALLY is, I could have stayed there 4 more days taking pictures and just hanging out....I LOVE the Ocean...and I could tell Bear was dying for a swim but..the smell of wet sea dog on the ride home might have been too much to bear.

WE do lots of tournaments in NS so you'll see us someday I'm sure!

Oh that's not pride...he WAS looking at the camera but then a boat went by and he heard the waves lapping up on the shore nearby which he had to check out.

I'm not sure if you knw this but the waves around here are VERY dangerous and it's Bear's duty to subdue them with lots of pouncing and biting.

BUT the end result was a very regal looking pose...It's my new screen saver!
