Small Brag for Husband and Girls

It's been raining cats and dogs for two days now, but Joe put both Foxy and Enya in the van and motored off to Goshen, CT determined to take the girls through the American Temperament Test hosted by the American Pit Bull Terrier Club of New England. I had planned to take one of the girls through, but had to work this weekend so I could neither participate nor observe.

I am very happy to share that both girls passed with ease, even in the pouring rain. Hubby is no worst for the wear and just happy the girls were successful and that he was able to come home and get into some dry clothes.

Foxy was bred by Joe and myself and Enya was bred and is co owned with Frank David of vom Braunschweig Rottweilers

Passing a temperament test in pouring rain, just add an extra dimension to the test:
No “hydrophobia”
Congratulations!!!!!

Thank you. Actually, the tester had said almost all dogs react differently in the rain, but Joe couldn't have been more proud of the girls. They were right on at each station.

Thank you Maureen. I wish I could have been there, but I'm sure hubby was just as glad I wasn't. It's a man thing, you know But, I told him how proud I was of all three of them.

Must be good to know, even your dogs are sweet, they are not made of sugar!

PS: Why is the thread title: "Small" brag???

Re: Small Brag for Husband and Girls

Thank you everyone! I will certainly pass along your congrats to the hubby. It's a good feeling standing there knowing you're the breeder and/or owner of nice stable dogs.

Thank you all again!

Re: Small Brag for Husband and Girls

That is a huge success for both dogs and husband. I'm trying to get my husband to help take pictures of Tango for TRQ and it has almost ended in divorce. Some husbands are so wonderful just like some dogs I guess.

A big congrats to your dogs and your wonderful husband!

Re: Small Brag for Husband and Girls

Thank you both, Pam and Diane.

Let me just say, Diane, that the "good" husband got a new digital camera a couple years ago to take pictures of our dogs also. If you take a look at HIS website: www.digitalimpressionist.com, you will see there are many pictures but very few of the DOGS! So, I had to laugh at your comment about "almost ending in divorce."

I am proud of him and the girls and thank you again for your congratulations.
