Pup Got Bit (playfighting)

I'll be calling the vet Monday to bring him, just hoping somebody could let me know what this could be.

My guy was play fighting with his buddy, I think the other dog's tooth or nail cut the inside of my dogs front bottom lip. There was blood on the other dogs neck. When we noticed the blood we saw right away that there was like a grey colour fuzzy thing coming out of the wound, which is still there I thought it was damage to the lip but it's coming out of the wound, it's a soft grey thing.. Is this a sign of infection, or is his body fighting/ pushing the infection out of the lip?

Could the body heal this one or should I get antibiotics?

Everything was closed at the time so I couldn't take him in right away I have to wait this one out till Monday.

Are you sure it isn't just grey fuzz he picked up that's stuck in the wound? How deep is it? If it still looks raw on Monday, won't hurt to have the vet take a look.

There's nothing stuck in it. It has that cauliflower look to it. I don't know how I missed it I just brushed his teeth on Friday, unless my thumb was covering it.

Canine Viral Papillomas << I did some searching and this sounds like what my guy has. I'll still take him in, it looks like people are using L-Lysine to get rid of it ??

The one he has is grey, not white.

I have an appointment in an hour just to be 100% sure. So I'm guessing with the puppy play yesterday made this thing burst, so this is where the blood came from. I thought he got injured.

Yep that's all it is, apparently the wart turns grey after it's crushed. So his puppy mate saved the vet from doing it. It should be gone in 1 or 2 weeks.
