skin stretchy???

I have a weird question. I just noticed that when I pull turbo's skin away from his head and cheek area it stays in the position I put it in. And it seems like he has a lot of excess skin/saggy skin around his face. His eye lids are kind of droopy too. It just doesn't seem right. I researched online and all I can come up with is dehydration. But he is drinking normally and not having any issues like the runs or vomiting. And I did the elasticity test between his shoulder blades and the skin goes right back like it should. Am I being paranoid or is something wrong??? Thanks everyone!!

Re: skin stretchy???

How old is Turbo? If he's a puppy, this isn't that unusual. They kinda grow into their skin.

He is 7 years old. It is more the lack of elasticity that bothers me and how iif I pinch the skin together it stays like that until I smooth it out.

Re: skin stretchy???

to me that sounds like dehydration...... GET him to a vet. even if hes drinking normal there could be more to it.

Re: skin stretchy???

I really do not think it is dehydration. I have read like 10 websites that say the elasticity test should be performed on the middle of the back or neck or shoulder blade area. The skin on turbo pops right back in those areas. This issue is just with his cheek area/sides of face and top of head a little. His capillary refill time is very fast also and he is not drinking any excess water or acting lethargic.
