Re: To hell with lymphoma! HELP Bowlforthedog- My dog has osteosarcoma and I have him on the cancer diet recommended by OSU...Ohio State University Veterinary Division. The diet has been working for my dog who is 2 months since diagnosis...well, at least he likes it (don't know if it has slowed his cancer). We can only do our best though, so I have been feeding him this since. Here is the recipe: 3 lbs of organic ground beef 1 bunch of parsley 1 lb of carrots 6 cloves of garlic 1 lb of organic brown rice 1 cup of organic plain yogurt 1/4 cup of ground flax seed Boil the beef and drain the fat. Boil the rice and mix with the beef. In a food processor, chop the carrots, parsley, and garlic. Grind the flax seed until in powder form. Mix all together with the yogurt. Make a huge bowl and cover. Should last for about 5 - 7 days. I also feed my dog cottage cheese, kale, broccoli, ricotta cheese, and brussel sprouts. Eggs are a favorite as well. He eats better than us! I cook for him every Saturday morning and it lasts the week as long as he has other things to eat like his cottage cheese. He eats a container every two days. Good luck!

Re: To hell with lymphoma! HELP I went to the Holistic vet today and he was prescribed a Liver/Gall Bladder Supplement, Immune Supplement and Poly-Mva. I have done some research on Poly-Mva, and there is not alot of info. on this Poly-Mva. Has anyone used this stuff? Should I use it? Or just do what I believe is best for him? This Poly-Mva scares me a little bit. Have I just bought SNAKE OIL? Advice Please!

Re: To hell with lymphoma! HELP Well I went through this with my four year old last year. the threads are here and here. It was the worst I have felt in my life. I opted not to do the chemo because of costs and there was no promise it would even work. I simply did not want to put him through it. Good Luck with whatever you decide to do.

Re: To hell with lymphoma! HELP Roscoe is still hangin in here. He has a bladder infection now, and I have him on antibotics. With all this going on, he is not wanting to eat much, as we could understand. His Lymphnodes are swollen but not to extreme at this point. I am just keeping him content, untill I need to do the deal. If he can get the bladder infection cleared up, I feel he might be more up to par with eating. This is just a day by day process and it sucks. I hate to watch my good ole boy die on me like this, but there is not much else I can do but spoil him to death...

| Re: To hell with lymphoma! HELP Thanks for the update. Spoiling him is the recommended Rx at this point. ![]() And in the midst of all this emotional turmoil, don't forget to take pictures! You will thank yourself later. Scratches for Roscoe's ears being sent.
