Worms Eggs In Yard Want Them Removed

Can anyone tell me what I can use to kill worm eggs in my yard where my dogs do there business. My puppy is in the middle of being treated for roundworms which he does HAVE. He is recieving the treatment he needs to remove them and I will be putting him on heartguard interceptor once under control that will protect him against worms. I do clean up the yard after every movement he does but would love to spray down the yard with something that will kill the eggs from the worms. " I would like as much protection as possible ". I heard that watered down bleach will not kill the eggs. Need some advice out there, thanking you in advance.

Re: Worms Eggs In Yard Want Them Removed

Here is an article for you to read all about roundworms.
Dog Roundworms (Ascarids, Toxascaris leonina, Toxocara canis)
They basically state the only way to really get rid of roundworm eggs from your yard is to remove and replace the soil with new soil...in the depth of about 8-12 inches. Bleach will not kill the eggs as you already know but will remove the sticky outer layer to make them easier to remove. I wonder if Diatomaceous earth would kill the eggs after the sticky outer layer is removed? Many people use Diatomaceous earth to control flea populations in their yard.

Keep in mind as well that an extremely healthy animal is not a good host for parasites and will normally expel them on their own.
