Thumbs up Immune Mediated Thrombocytopenia

Does anyone know about this condition? when should I see results? I'd taken my rottie to the vet yesterday and they think this is what he has. Or he may have an ulcer and the medication they've given him for the thrombocytopenia may kill him. I had to do something and if I didn't take a chance on something doing nothing would surely lead to death. To see him like this is breaking my heart, I can't help but to think if I'd done something different he wouldn't be in such bad shape. I just want my little boy back, healthy and in good shape. He has a follow up appointment tomorrow at 11. The vet said if his platlet count is up, then he's in good shape. Please keep Malcolm in your thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely,
Malcolms Mom
