Re: plz help ...need some advice

take him back to the vet, have bloodwork done, stool check and possibly xrays to see if he has a blockage or another underlying problem. the faster the problem is located and worked on, the better for the puppy.no, it's not normal behavior what you are describing.
hope all goes well.

You need to take him back to the vet. This is not normal by any means, he's obviously still not feeling well so there might still be a piece in there! I can't imagine the poor dog feeling like this for two weeks!? Take him asap and have bloodwork done, stool check and x-rays if necessary. Good luck.

thanx 4 the help...im taking him to the vet tomorrow... the problem is that im not sure if the plastic (which was 2 weeks ago) is causing the proble....the dog also has an overbite and i discovered that his new tooth is making a hole in his mouth....can this be the problem?

the tooth may cause some discomfort in eating and chewing, but a down puppy is not normal. have him looked at and ask for bloodwork/xrays to be sure not a viral thing or a retained plastic causing a blockage.

Re: plz help ...need some advice extremely tired puppy

2day i took spike (my dog) to the vet and he said that he had no problems..he checked his body temp. , stomach and chest and said that he was ok and that he is recovering...and that mayb this was because there was another elder dog (a doberman) staying at my house for a week..

Re: plz help ...need some advice extremely tired puppy

Just curious how Spike was doing.

My Marley is also 5 months old and has stayed around a family dog for a few days and never acted like that. Being that you know he did eat plastic, I would maybe geta second opinion..if he's still not being himself. I don't want to scare you, but if there is some sort of blockage..the longer you wait to find out, the more damage could be done. I really hope he is doing better!! pLease keep us updates~
