| Okay, my gaseous dog has finally stopped throwing up but now he is eating his frozen pee. Surrounded by beautiful white snow, he bybasses that to eat the yellow stuff. I've heard of them eating thier own stools, but not urine. He just turned 6 yrs old and was neutered last April. We recently changed his food over from Nutro to Candidea. What could this mean? Thank you. Stace |

| I would have him checked out by the vet. I've heard of dogs being attracted to their own urine, because of diabetes. The sugar in the urine makes it attractive. Gina

| Re: Dog 'eating' urine I will give the vet a call. Is diabetes in dogs as manageable as it is in humans? How do I go about getting a urine sample from him? |

I have a "dedicated" soup ladle. Diabetes is manageable in dogs. |
