| My rottie son has had problems w/ itchy skin & hot spots. His butt & stubby tail itch and he has a hot spot on his right back foot. My vet gave him some omega 3 allergy tabs: I give him one a day like the vet recommended. I just ordered Doctors Foster & Smith allergy tabs because he needs more relief than what he's getting & I don't really want to put him on any prescription meds if I can avoid it. Does anyone out there know of any problems/side effects w/ these pills? They contain vitamin c, bioflavonoid quercetin, bromelain and grape seed extract. I was thinking about giving him the lowest dose possible. Any thoughts ![]() |

| Re: drs foster & smith allergy tabs?? The ingredients are natural (anti oxidants)...many I have taken myself....I would not hesitate to try. And kuddos to the Vet that looks at natural remedies...I would keep that Vet. |

| What are you feeding him? A simple change of diet may help him also. I'm sure the allergy tabs will help...but you really must find the root of the problem..why is he itchy? and what is causing it? Gina
