hips x-ray

Could some one who is knowledgeable with x-rays please take a look at my boys hips and let me know what they think? These were taken at 6 months, he's now 10.
Thank you.

Re: hips x-ray

He is at an angle which is hard to say for certain about the coverage of the socket and ball. I am by no means an expert, but I am not seeing any gross problems. I will leave the finer details to others.
How did you get the x-ray scanned?

I asked the vet who took them to burn the image on a cd.

Re: hips x-ray

the positioning is not at its best, and my computer screen is small and the kvp's are a little low- but at that stage, without seeing much details they look ok.
you know you can always submit to ofa for a prelim...but the CD must be mailed by and from the vets office and their digital xray machine (vets office)be registered with them.
keep in mind he was xrayed at 6 months. there is alot of growing and changing to go thru...that is why we OFA at 24 months and older.
