Talking Hiccups?

Does anyone else have a dog or pup that gets the hiccupps? my sisters little girl pup gets the hiccupps after eating sometimes for just a few minutes. The vet said her heart sounds very healthy granted she is not a cardiologist but she also said it is very common in this breed. Is that true?

Cool Re: Hiccups?

My REX ia very strong male...he gets hickup vey often sometimes after eating..nothing to be worried about...It is because of contractions of the upper digestive path sometimes it lasts fo 2-3minuts..but most of time for a couple of secons ...overcomes when he driks some water...even I get hickups....
