2 bald spots

Well my dog got two bald spots, one on each leg. My dog did have flees and I think it was from bitten to spot to much. What should I do to the two bald spots?

Which legs and where are the spots located?

Have you treated him to remove the fleas?

Yes I already treated him but he may have more because I let him run through some tall grass. But its on both back legs I don't know what to say like next to his knee.

Re: 2 bald spots

if your dog is allergic to fleas(flea saliva), all it takes is one flea bite to get him going.
you need to get the fleas under control by treating him and the environment around him.
you can try capstar for same day kill and maybe put him on frontline plus or advantage monthly.
vaccuum any rugs, wash beddings, keep grass short and lawn treated every 2-3 weeks until under control.
for the bald spots, if the vet saw them and ruled out bacterial infection or fungal(such as ringworm), get him fatty acids(fish oils for food) and the hair will grow back.
if it's bacterial or irritated, it might need antibiotics.
if rough, like a callous, rubbing lanolin cream might help it some.

Re: 2 bald spots

without exactly knowing what is wrong and why the bald spots it is hard to say if just give fatty acids, treat fleas and all will be ok.
it sounds like just fleas and chewing.but, it's your call.

Re: 2 bald spots

I'm going to take him to a vet because he has a pretty big bump where his littlest bald spot was or maybe it was alway a bump but I'm going to take him to the vet.
