Urinary Infections/Alternative Meds

I have a 7 month old female who has just recently been spayed - she's fed the Eukanuba large breed puppy formula. So far, she's she working on her 4th Urinary track infection. Are there any dietary supplements that I can give her to help prevent future infections?? Also, should I be giving her any other supplements to wort off any of the other genetic diseases that the rotti's have? Any recommendations of Alternative Meds??

some female pups are much more prone to severe infections than others. Clavamox for 10 days usually totally gets rid of them, usually for good.

For naturals:
You can give her Vit C (500 to 1500 mg twice a day-whatever she can deal with without getting diarrhea), Cranberry capsules and a teaspoon organic apple cider vinegar once a day

Diane,
Thanks so much for the reply. Antibiotics - I'm still trying to get a urine sample to take to the vets (not so easy), but I'm positive that's what she has. She was on Clavamox the first 2 times, then the 3rd time, she was given something else (can't remember the name). As for the Naturals, what's the dosage on the Cranberry capsules??
Thanks again! I love this group, you all are so helpful!!

Get a PH Biotic Canine supplement from Wysong. It has taurine, cranberry, and other good natural pro-biotic "stuff", that prevents UT problems.
