| Joint problems and limping
I HAVE A 8 YEAR OLD FEMALE WITH DYSPLASIA IN THE LEFT HIP AND ARTHRITIS IN THE RIGHT FRONT SHOULDER SO I AM TOLD ACCORDING TO X-RAYS, REGULAR VET VISITS AND A ORTHOPEDIC EXAM. AT FIRST IT WASN'T TOO BAD, A LITTLE LIMP. SHE WAS ON A GLUCOSAMINE SUPP. FOR MONTHS AND I BELIEVE IT HELPED HER JOINTS. NOW A FEW YEARS LATER, SUPPLEMENTS, ASPIRIN AND EVEN RYMIDAL SHOW LITTLE HELP. SHE IS SLOWING DOWN AND LIMPING MORE. IF ANYONE HAS ANY REMEDIES OR KNOWS OF SOME- THING THAT COULD POSSIBLY HELP. MY DOG IS IN VERY GOOD HEALTH OTHERWISE, BUT COULD PROBABLY BENEFIT IF SHE LOST 5-7 LBS. SHE CURRENTLY WEIGHS IN AT 86.5 LBS. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO E-MAIL ME WITH ANY INFORMATION. FRANK |

| Frank: Try glucosamine sulfate 2000 mg and chondrotin sulfate 1000 mg CAPS (no powder)and Ester C in her food for about 2 weeks and then back off to 1500 mg/500 mg. It works wonders if used consistently. The powder form degenerates whereas the caps stay consistent. Hope this helps! |

| Hi Lady B If it is back off to 1500/500mg is Ester C still be needed? |

| Yes. Despite what vets say about dogs being able to produce Vit C in their digestive tract I have found that an added boost works. Besides which if the body can't use it the excess is excreted in the dog's urine. |
