Droopy eyes/Ectropion?

My 14 month old female rottweiler's eyes look funny. Mainly when she is tired, they seem to droop down on the bottom and show the red lid. I saw an article a while back about "Haw Eye" ? I think that's what they called it,... and it was in larger breed dogs.
This is my first rott so I don't know what is normal and what is not. She also gets alot of discharge when she wakes up. I have been using these steril eye wipes to cut down on the discharge. Is it normal in rottweilers to have this droopy look when they first wake?
Thanks in advance to anyone that replys.

I have 3 Rotties, and the middle one seems to have lots of gunk in his eyes, usually in the summertime, so I have credited the yucky stuff to allergies..

You should have her checked for entropion either at your vet if they're qualified or at a veterinary opthalmologist. Molly had the same droopy eyes and discharge, she had mild entropion and had we not caught it in time, she would be blind today, her eyelashes were scratching her cornea.
