Teething Pain Sammy has started losing his baby teeth he is just over 3 months old, he seems to be having alot of discomfort, he cried and whimpered all evening and most of the night last night. Otherwise his behavior is fine, he plays very hard, is chewing everything in sight. and eats very heartily. We have given him ice cubes, a frozen knotted kitchen towel, frozen carrots, frozen biscuits. I was wondering if there was anything like they use for babies to put on his gums to relieve it a little, I felt so bad, we were up most of the night with him, and he just laid by us and chewed all night. thanks. ------------------ MJ-ICQ 44365363

Never heard off a pup in that much pain while loosing his teeth. Maybe the vet should have a look at him to figure out what is going on in there ?? Anton

I agree with Anton. It shouldn't hurt a pup to lose teeth, just be uncomfortable. If the vet checks him out and all is normal you could use a little baby Ora-gel rubbed on gums.
