Anxiety Attacks?

Troodie has been having episodes of shivering and trembling and she chatters her teeth and gets very clingy during them. I took her to the vet yesterday who said it is not Epilepsy, but most likely anxiety attacks. I have no idea what would trigger them, she leads a charmed life, and I'm worried about this. Anyone ever have a dog that does this? Any info would be helpful. Thanks!

Re: Anxiety Attacks?

Chopper has done that, his lips quiver when he gets nervous, like last week when Gypsy ran and knocked the chair over and broke it, there was such a loud noise he was quivering and shaking like a seizure and drooling.. it was weird

Does he look to you for comforting when he gets scared? I'm wondering if I'm babying my dog too much.

Re: Anxiety Attacks?

Troodie Update:

I think the trigger to her attacks is the sound my son's cellphone makes when the battery is dying. She had one today and I noticed that his phone was making that 'beewoop" sound. She didn't like it at all!
