Throwing up My dog throws up about once a week in the middle of the night. Usually it is just sticks, mulch and digestive juices. Is this normal? She still has bowel movements normally so I guess she isn't stopped up. Last night she threw up all of her food. I think this was because I cracked a raw egg over her dog food and she ate all the food too fast.

Throwing up undigestable things like sticks and grass is quite normal. Especially on an empty stomach.

Could be hair balls too. If so, the same stuff you give cats will work.

My girl does the same thing but she licks the floor and her bed so she is probably getting hair, dust and floor cleaning stuff which probably causes it. Shes fine and hungry the next day.
