oral papillomas

My female American Bulldog has oral papillomas (sp?). She contacted them from another american bulldog about 2 months ago. My vet had some info on them but it was the first time he had seen them on dogs. From what I know they have any incubation period of 4-8 weeks and then last from 1-5 months until they disappear. They are a white cluster that gets larger as they age and become flowery. They are self limiting which means they go away and do not come back. Has anyone experienced this problem with their dogs. I am worried that my new rottie pup will get them so I am trying to keep the 2 dogs separated which is becoming quite a chore. Any info would be much appreciated.

They're usually self-limiting & go away in a few weeks. Hopefully this will be the case with your dog.
