I am a big Adequan fan. Having seen it used with both horses and dogs I can say that it really does help in many cases of joint problems/diseases and arthritis. It is a natural substance (glycosaminoglycan) that will definitely not do any harm to your pet.
My 14 year old Labrador just finished the first month of treatment (shots twice a week for four weeks). I noticed dramatic improventment in her mobility after the 2nd shot and she continued to improve all the way through and past the treatment. We are now going to try maintenance therapy of once a month. It is almost time for her first maintanence dose. I noticed the positive results starting to wear off about 2 1/2 weeks after the initial treatment ended.
I am truly sorry I didn't start the Adequan earlier with her (at first symptoms of arthritis) because in addition to the joint repair, the preventive benefits are fabulous also. I sound like an advertisement! At best it will help tremendously and at worst it won't help and do no harm at all.
