Symmetrical Lupoid Onychodystrophy???

Has anyone either heard of and/or dealt with this before....

Jana's has been having issues with her toe nails and this what the vet and myself are thinking it likely is...

One of the reason for the hesitant diagnosis is that for a more in depth diagnosis we'd have to basically amputate a toe!!! No way...not unless ABSOLUTELY neccessary...

So I'm just curious if anyone else has had experience with it....

My dear Jana...first Seborrea (sp?) and now this....why can't the girl just get good old fashioned ear infection.... She's always got to be exotic...

Edited to add: Silly me, posting before searching again...I see it's come up before is 2005...but any advice or especially turn out on those affected would be great...
