Hair loss, dry skin, and small growths

I'm asking for help with my 6yr old Jaz. She has lost quite a bit of her hair. She has very dry skin. She also has some small growths(about the size of a quarter). Going to the vet as soon as they get back in town. She also has a lot of matter build-up in her eyes. Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like this could be anything from allergies and/or diet to an actual disease - or a combination. You might ask the vet to draw blood for a thyroid test - which should be sent off for complete thyroid function tests, not just a simple T3/T4. That's just one possibility to look at and one that comes to mind from the descriptions of the symptoms.
