White Bumps

When Me'Shyla was 3 months I discovered a white bump on her urethra and took her to the vet. He cleaned it up and it went away the next day. Since then I've found one but did the same and it went away.
Here's the thing she's 6 months now...last night I found three on her urethra. Practically covering it! I've been wiping that area with a warm rag ever night and keeping it clean since the 1st time. What is going on? My vet tells me they're like zits. So now I have to find a new vet!!!

Has anyone experienced this? I've been getting the same response from every vet I ask. They say it's normal. But i don't think it is.

I had a puppy up until about 6 months of age or so, and she had these. I just kept a close eye, but I think it might just be zits, cuz they are going through hormonal changes, and their first heat cycle is in and around 6 months of age or so.

I'm sure one of our expert memeber/breeders can confirm this.

I have also heared it is normal in puppies as well. Post a picture if you can.

Shyla will kill me if I post her no no spot for all the boys to see LOL

Do you mean vulva, and not urethra? The urethra comes down from the kidney to the bladder.....if you're seeing it, or wiping it off, I'd be a bit concerned about more than white bumps.

I'm so glad you posted that. I was wondering how on earth anyone could possibly see the urethra.
