Brewer's Yeast/Garlic - Flea Prevention?

Does anyone know how well a supplement formula of brewer's yeast/garlic works on flea prevention/control? I know for humans and mosquitoes it works well.

Don't know how it works on dogs, but it doesn't work a damn on cats. A friend of mine feeds it to all her barn cats and they are covered in fleas! She won't do anything "chemical" about the fleas, and the only time in my life that a dog of mine ever had fleas was when they hitched a ride home (on my saddle, or boots, or something) with me from the barn. I washed the dog in flea shampoo, sprayed everwhere, the fleas disappeared and never reappeared because after that, I was very careful not to leave anything out anywhere near the cats.

Hello there,?have any of you out there tried Teatree oil,I can tell you Flea's hate it. I wont use any chemical products, but have found the teatree oil just wonderful. Bathe your dog with his normal shampoo, then sponge all over with teatree oil,for bad infestations repeat every two days for a week and they will dissapear. You can buy teatreeoilfrom any health shop, its has alot of uses, I use it for alot of things for kids and dogs.
