| Hernia My little Tank has an 'umbilical' (sp?) hernia. I was told it would probably go away around 6 months but it hasn't, and doesn't look like it's going anywhere. Can this cause problems? ------------------ |

| It all depends on how big the hernia is. It's not difficult for the vet to repair it if he/she feels necessary. Unless part of an internal organ is poking through the hernia, or there's a possibility that could happen, there's usually no need to repair it.
