| A lot of people feel that kelp supplement will improve pigment. I haven't seen any conclusive evidence in Rottweilers that it does; it might possibly stop the pink from *spreading*. It's worth a try but be careful not to give too much - some dogs are sensitive to it. I know people with Yellow Labs who swear by it for darkening eye rim and nose pigment. | are the pink spots raised or not? it's a good idea to have your vet take a look at them to know exactly what they are and how they can be treated. http://www.rottweiler.net/rottie/smile.gif ------------------ Abel Manalo College of Veterinary Medicine University of the Philippines |

| Miss Nancy: where can I find kelp supplement? There are some commercial names? Mr. Abelmanolo: No. They are plane spots. There are no changes in the mucous surface. They are typical discoloration, at the beginning phase. |

| Most dog supply catalogs have kelp powder. I don't know exactly what catalogs you have access to in Brazil. I'm at work so don't have anything here but I'm sure a lot of these suppliers (Foster & Smith, J&B, etc.) have web sites. You might just try doing a search for dog supplies and go from there.
