rash or spots on elbows any remedies

i was doing a inspection of my puppys coat and found a rash or rub spot on his elbow is this a serious or a minor problem that can be solved with a home remedy . he is only 6mo. old need a cure ,running jumping ,etc. just that minor problem .

At the kennel I work at, we use a product called Horseman's dream on the dogs with calloused elbows. Alot of times, if they are out with a handler or come back from their homes, they will have callouses and some reddened hair around the area from not being kept dry.
