| Re: Mange I used it on my minpin when she had demodex. It took awhile, but after 6 weeks (I think) she cleared up and hasn't had a problem since.

| Re: Mange When Bella was a puppy I used it as well. From what I understand, localized demodex resolves on its own with or w/out this product but it can't hurt!

| Re: Mange Goodwinol can help eradicate demodectic mange and knemidocoptic mange (found on birds), not sarcoptic mange. I used it for demodex on my adult dog along with injectible Ivermectin and did see some recovery (new stubble hair growth). Unfortunately, the demodex was ultimately a symptom of something much worse, as it can be when appearing on an adult dog, and she didn't survive that. What kind of mange are you trying to treat? |

| Re: Mange i had to use the goodwinol on ryker last year as he had demodectic mange on his muzzle. I used it daily, working it gently into his skin with a soft toothbrush and after about maybe a month the mange went away and there was new hair growth. He has been fine since!!! Good luck! |

| I am currently using Goodwinol on my male rottie, 5 months old. He has 3 areas of bald spots surrounded by thinning hair. My vet gave me the ointment for once a day use. She advised that it would probably heal just as well if I used nothing. Seems any suppression of the immune system (vaccines) or stress (teething) can get these little mites to overpopulate to where you see the hair loss. She also said it could take up to 2 months to go away. Not to worry. Kathie |
