| Re: Bald Spot A good quality food will help provide nutrients tokeep the coat healthy. And I would just let the spot be...don't fuss with them. Sometimes the hair will not come back if the hot spot was a deep one. |

| Re: Bald Spot Step one is to make sure the hot spot is truely gone. Second is to make sure the dog isn't licking the area. After that it is a good diet and time. Figure on upto 2 months for the shorter hairs on the face and legs to grown and a bit longer for the rest of the body. If you are impatient because you will be showing the dog in conformation soon- so what. I have shown dogs with bald spots from hot spots, insect bites (left side of his muzzle was dead) and shaved areas due to IV and blockage removal and my dogs have done well.
