Growth inside of eyelid on rottweiler

I just noticed a growth on the inside of my rottweiler's eyelid. It has 2 bumps and a growth attached. Has anyone ever seen anything like this?

It could be cherry eye or entropian. Whatever it is, it is not comfortable for the dog and will need to see a vet.

Years ago, before I discovered rotties, we had boxers. I'm not sure of the spelling but he developed a growth called a chilazian. The vet said it was similar to the way an oyster makes a pearl. Some sand or dirt got in his eye lid and irritated the lid causing a small lump the size of a small pea. The vet gave drops but eventually it had to be removed.The entire surgery didn't take even an hour. Dog was fine that night. I continued with the drops and that was the end of it.
I hope your rottie just needs drops or maybe even nothing. The vet will know.If the dog is experiencing no distress the vet may just do a wait and see.

I was wondering if it was entropia, but it has this large mass under the eyelid, about the size of the circumference of a pencil. The two bumps are on this mass. I have been putting some triple antibiotic dog eye ointment in it today. Will call the vet in the morning.

My previous dog had a growth on the lower lid. I had the vet remove it surgically. She said it's good we did since the growth was larger then originally suspected and was rubbing on the eye. It wasn't anything malignant or malicious, but it was certainly and irritant. Definitely best to have it investigated and removed if deemed necessary.
