slippery floor-post opp tplo

Hi,
I'm a wreak but doing ok, here is my problem, Chase is in my room and for her to go pee I have to walk her over a area of slick concrete. I read no slippery surfaces, is there anything I can do to lower the risk?
Thanks emily

Concrete isn't usually slick..is it sealed with something slippery? Usually the reference to slippery sufaces is directed at hardwood or other smooth surface floorings inside the house. Normal dry concrete surfaces do have a semi-rough surface, so I'd think Chase will be fine on them.

The next few weeks will be tough for you, but hang in there and stick with the program! Maybe marking the calendar off with those little x's will help you see that there is an end to the tunnel.

See if you can find a rubber backed runner (maybe at a restaurant supply store)...

Bathroom rugs work great!! I bought a whole bunch of them during Froli's rear troubles and made a trail over the wood floors.

You can also use a sling to control the rear end while walking over slippery surfaces. A large towel works.

You can pick up cheap indoor/outdoor carpet runners at Home Depot, Lowe's, etc. I stretched them across my laundry room to the garage, and across the garage to the side yard where I took Char to go potty.

I also took a small rubber backed rug to the vet for post op visits. Clinic floors are notoriously slippery.
