Puppy Vaginitis with UTI

Luna was feeling a little under the weather yesterday so I decided to take her to work with me last night to keep an eye on her. She just wasn't acting completely like herself. She was quiet, sleeping a lot, and appeared uncomfortable. Just before I went to ask the vet to take a look at her, she peed blood tinged urine.

AHA! I palpated her bladder and expressed the remaining amount out to preform a urinalysis. Sure enough, my little girl has a raging UTI with vaginitis. She just had her second dose of Clavamox this morning and is already perking up.

Hopefully this resolves quickly.

Jazmin had UTI/Ecoli with Vaginitis, poor thing was under the weather for a week or so. She was on antibiotics for three weeks. We just finished the treatment on Saturday. Went for a check up on Monday and to take a culture of her urine. I got a very nice message from my vet announcing Jazmin is officially free of Ecoli. YEEESSSSSS!!!

It was a long three weeks, she had to take medicine twice a day and she wasn't herself for a while. Hope your puppy gets better!
