Solid Gold and IBD

I am not interested in changing from my home-prepared diet right now. Things are going great and I don't want to mess with a good thing..you know. My trainer was just asking if Solid Gold would a good dog food for a dog with IBD since it a one protein with one carb source of food and is hypoallergenic. Just thought I would ask to see what you'll think?

When my dog had colitis I tried various brands. Solid Gold was the worst for his bowels out of all the brands I tried. It just shot out of him.

That was just my experience. It couldn't hurt to try...it's a good food.

It could be worth a shot. I have not tried it yet with my dog with IBD. We are currently feeding Natural Balance (also 1 protein, 1 carb) with awesome results!

Are there different protein options? If the dog has been on the protein source and not tolerated it, I would hesitate to return. We are on a Duck & Potato formula (been on venison and trout prior).
