Protruding rib?

Can anyone send me some info on well a rib that sticks out on a puppy, it does not bother the puppy whatsoever.
But is there something that needs to be done for it? The pup is approxiamately 11 weeks old.

I had this with a lab pup that is one of my training classes...it protruded on the right side only and seemed almost like it was a floating rib...the vet said it was fine and not worry about it.

A pup you say...

The last rib is a floating rib and on some dogs is more prominent than others.
